Dirty Little Secret

(Author's Note: I have not flagged this as mature because it's my first time writing Deadpool and it's not that bad, but come on, it's Deadpool. You know what you're getting into if you read a Deadpool story. You've been warned.)

“The first number tonight is going to be an oldie but goodie,” you announced as your band started the familiar tune.

You saw a red and black mask in the back of the room and you smirked. Oh, boy was he going to love this.

I go around a time or two, just to waste my time with you

Wilson didn't come to a lot of your shows. Mostly because of his job taking up so much of his time. But when he managed to come, he made it worth your while. In more ways than one.

When we live such fragile lives, it's the best way we survive

You were both terrible at keeping it quiet. He used to send you presents when he couldn't make your shows. Until he got the packages switched and ended up sending you a severed head. And that was the end of that.

But you were just as bad, hence the reason for this song. The other patrons would dismiss it as some special request. But you two would know the real implications.

Those thoughts I can't deny, these sleeping thoughts won't lie, and all I've tried to hide

Not getting caught was the hardest part. I mean, do you know how hard it is to sneak a man wearing a red and black costume backstage to your dressing room? Let alone leave with him? The band and security are everywhere after the show. And most of them still aren't over that severed head incident.

I'll keep you my dirty little secret, Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret

It might have been easier to stop. But you both had stressful jobs and sometimes you just needed a bit of fun. And sneaking around knowing you could get caught was definitely part of the fun.

Who has to know

The song was met with quite a bit of applause and cheers. You thanked them before quickly moving on, still feeling someone's eyes on you.

~~~~~After the Show~~~~~
You walked into your dressing room, about to grab all your stuff so that you could sneak out. But someone put their hands on your shoulders.
“You got here quick,” you remarked.
“Well, what do you expect when you tell everyone our little secret?” He replied from behind you.
“They don't know anything, Wilson.” You put your arms around his neck and looked up at him. “Give me a little credit.”
You could see his smirk through his mask. “I was talking about the readers.”
“The readers,” you repeated.
“The ones reading this story from your perspective.”
“Then the damage is already done, isn't it?”
“You got it, babe. But they're expecting a little more out of this--”
“Then take your mask and katanas off and we'll see what happens.”
“You're so sexy when you take charge,” he purred as he started removing his suit.
You smirked. “Are you talking to me or the readers?” His eyes widened.
“Oh, shit! What are you all still doing here?” He made a shooing motion. “Get out! Nothing to see here!” And with that, he slammed the door shut.
